After completing a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 1996 I moved to Brighton where I set up a freelance partnership and worked as a visual artist and interactive designer for a range of record labels, as well as Konami-Europe, Boxfresh, McCann-Erickson and fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. In 2002 I became a sessional lecturer for the Brighton College of Technology, teaching design communication. I am also a member of a Brighton printmakers collective
In 2004 I joined Lateral, a strategic digital marketing and advertising agency ranked 86 by the NMA, 54 by Marketing magazine and described as the 'seventh most awarded creative agency in the UK' by Revolution magazine. My role at Lateral was as Senior Designer and in 2006 I became the Head of Design. I have worked on every Lateral account, spanning the charity, commercial and entertainment sectors, including award winning creatives for Levi's, RSPCA, Which and Cadillac. My work for Levi's has been published in Contemporary Graphic Design by Charlotte & Peter Fiell (Tachen), and my illustration work has recently been published in The Fundamentals of Illustration by Lawrence Zeegen (Ava Publishing). Other clients I have worked with while at Lateral include Nintendo, De Beers Diamonds, Chorion, Amnesty International, Channel Five, Faber and Faber, Phillips de Pury & Company, Little Brown and Hachette Livre
